George Robinson

Elder (On Sabbatical)

I came to saving faith in Jesus Christ in January of 1991 during the time I was studying Political Science/Pre-Law at the University of Georgia. It was a local church college ministry that God used to show me my need for the gospel and it was a few older men who were volunteers in that ministry that discipled me to show my on-going need for the gospel. God changed my entire outlook on life – beginning with my career choice. Rather than go to Law School, I became a high school Social Studies teacher. In learning to treat my vocation as a minister, God continued to grow me until he called me to full-time cross-cultural missions. It’s been nearly 25 years since I came to faith and I see my need for the gospel more today than ever. All these years later I have the privilege of teaching students at SEBTS and serving as an elder at North Wake.
